Gen these are absolutely amazing - I thought when I first saw them that you had posted them as inspiration. Those look fantastic! Sorry I can't come up with more constructive feedback at the moment, but I really like them!

I think these are really working- the colours are great, the forms look pleasing... like there's stuff to discover...what scale are they on? Are these 'unconcious'...? i really like these a lot.

they also have a sense of coherance as a body of work... are these for your exhibition?

me again... on the constructive side, the one I find not as pleasing is the central one with semi-square shapes in the centre- it looks a bit more pre-meditated... a bit over-complex maybe? Still looks good though. My favourite is the top right one I think- has lots of energy! you doing more in a similar vein? (In as much as you know/don't know what you'll produce!)

biff=happiness! yeh they are for my exhibition... which i am supposed to have had... oh dear.. don't know where i'm going to do that! the paintings are all quite little, all smaller than A3 (most less than half that). They are exploring the idea of unconscious drawing, so I can analyze different points of consciousness... as you can see there is some conscious intervention at certain points. I agree about the one with squares, kept going back to that one, each time making it look worse! The top right was the fastest one and my fav. I would like to do more like that but 'by accident' of course, wink wink. Really want to do more painting for illustration but it's difficult! Might try some big massive ones, what do you think?

yeah, why not, whatever comes naturally of course!
