aaah i still don't understand it. which one tells you how many people have been on your website? i thought it was visits...
you can also get a package called Mint (which you have to pay for) that neatly shows you how many people come to your site/where they come from (external links, blogs etc) and which parts of your website are the most popular and have had the most views. i've had it on my site for the whole year and its really useful.
googlestats is also pretty good.
